A delicious sweet from South Asia, accidentally prepared by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan’s personal chef now it acclaimed a distinct identity among desserts in all feast and buffets! Here you go, enjoy the right combination of milk, sugar & butter with a soft touch of cardamom. It is simple to prepare at home. Try it today!! COOK WITH LOVE Ingredients: For Sugar Syrup: Sugar: 2Cups Water: 2 ½ Cups Cardamom: 5nos Juice from 1 Lemon For Gulab Jamun: Semolina / Rava: 3tbsp Water: 3tbsp Milk Powder: 2Cups All-purpose flour / Maida: 2tbsp Baking Powder: 1tsp Saltless Butter: 3tbsp Fresh Milk: 7tbsp Sunflower / Vegetable oil: 300ml Direction: Sugar Syrup: In a saucepan pan low flame, add the sugar, water, cardamom and lemon juice.  Stir it gently for few seconds. Another deep fried kerala snack in which you can enjoy the delicious combination of green gram, jaggery and coconut mix. Try it today as your tea-time snack. COOK WITH LOVE Whole Green Gram (Cherupayar):1½ Cup All-purpose Flour: 1 Cup Rice Flour: ½ Cup Grated Coconut- 1 ¼ Cup Jaggery Syrup: ¾ Cup Cardamom powder: ¼ tsp Turmeric- ¼ tsp Salt- 1 pinch Water: 1Cup Oil for frying Preparation: Green Gram Balls: Soak the Whole Green Gram (Cherupayar) in water for around 5 hours. Then drain the water completely and allow it to pressure cook in ¾ cup water until you get 2 whistles. Open the lid and check the water content allow the water to evaporate completely. Then switch off the flame and mash the green gram. Allow it to settle at the room temperature then add grated coconut and cardamom powder. Onion Pakoda (Fritters)

Another snack from my mother’s kitchen which brings back my school days! Most of the days I used to have this as an evening snack, less spicy Onion Pakoda. During the Holy Month of Ramadan, you can serve this as a starter for Iftar. COOK WITH LOVE Ingredients: Thinly sliced Onion: 3Nos Ginger paste: 1tsp Green leaves: 3 sprigs Chopped Green Chili: 4Nos Turmeric Powder: ¼ tsp Chili Powder: ¼ tsp Besan Flour: 3tsp All-purpose flour: 2tsp Rice powder: 1tsp Water: 2tsp Coconut oil: 250ml Salt to taste Direction: In a bowl add all above-mentioned ingredients and mix well using hands until it forms a thick batter. Place a hard bottom pan on medium flame add coconut oil. Once it is hot gently transfer each tsp full of the batter into the oil. Deep fry all sides until it turns golden brown. Mango Mousse

A simple sweet and delicious dessert to serve after the main course. Try it today! COOK WITH LOVE Ingredients: Ripe mango pieces: 3cups Condensed Milk: 300ml Unflavoured gelatin: 2tsp Whipping Cream: 1½ cup Mint Leaves: 1 Sprig Direction: Mix gelatin in  1¼  cup of normal water. In a grinder add mango pieces, condensed milk & gelatin liquid and whisk it for few minutes. Gently transfer this mix into a bowl. Beat the chilled whipping cream for few minutes until you get a thick cream. Transfer this cream into the bowl with mango mix. Stir it for few minutes using a spatula. Your mango Mousse is ready now! Transfer the mango mousse into the serving bowls and refrigerate it for 30 minutes or overnight as you wish. Before serving, garnish it using the sliced mango pieces and mint leaves! Serve it cool. Chicken Kebab & Mint Chutney

A simple, easy to cook chicken kebab to linger your taste buds. Try it today! COOK WITH LOVE Ingredients: Chicken Breast: 200gm Chopped medium size onion: 1 Chopped Ginger: ½ tsp Chopped Garlic: ½ tsp Green Chili: 4nos Salt to taste Salted butter: 5tsp Skewers: 5nos Preparation: Time: 30Minutes Soak the skewers in water for around 3hours. Wash & rinse the chicken breast thrice or more and drain the water completely. In a grinder add chopped onion, ginger, garlic and chilies and grind it for few seconds. Then gently transfer the chicken pieces into the grinder, add salt and continue grinding until you get a thick paste.
