COOK WITH LOVE Whole Green Gram (Cherupayar):1½ Cup All-purpose Flour: 1 Cup Rice Flour: ½ Cup Grated Coconut- 1 ¼ Cup Jaggery Syrup: ¾ Cup Cardamom powder: ¼ tsp Turmeric- ¼ tsp Salt- 1 pinch Water: 1Cup Oil for frying Preparation: Green Gram Balls: Soak the Whole Green Gram (Cherupayar) in water for around 5 hours. Then drain the water completely and allow it to pressure cook in ¾ cup water until you get 2 whistles. Open the lid and check the water content allow the water to evaporate completely. Then switch off the flame and mash the green gram. Allow it to settle at the room temperature then add grated coconut and cardamom powder.
